My weekend
Surprisingly my Mum let me go on the computer most of the weekend. Even my science fair involved using my laptop. I had to see if ergonomics effects the comfort and the skill level that you play. Even though I was on the computer most of the time I still got outside... For a bit. I was shooting hoops in my basketball hoop. I was normally shooting off the trampoline but mostly just practicing shoots and lay ups. To tell the truth I basically finished my whole science fair in one day all thats left to do is the editing and the conclusion. I had to make it a quite simple science fair because I have a really busy term this term with Production and Basketball.

Extinct Animals - Megalodon
The Megalodon which in Greek means big tooth is an extinct shark species that was alive approximately 1.5 to 28 million years ago. Remains of the sharks fossils say that it was at least 15.9 - 20.3 metres. Scientist say that the Megalodon looked just like a bigger and beefier version of the Great White Shark. The Megalodons teeth were also 7 inches long and had the most powerful bite of any other creature that roamed the planet. These massive beast's feasted on giant whales and may have disabled them by bitting of there fins.

Periodic Table
I found out that the Periodic Table is a table of all the elements on earth it has 118 elements so far. All the elements have special numbers for how many protons they have (these are called atomic numbers) and one or two letters that is basically just a shorter name. There are 18 different group in the Periodic Table. The Periodic Table is similar to Minecraft it has all the elements and helps to see what two or three elements make another element. The creator of this amazing table was named Dmitri Mendeleev.

Science Discovery Of Coca Cola
John Pemberton was looking for a cure for headaches. He kept mixing a lot of ingredients together. But the recipe is guarded and most of the public dont know it. Coca Cola only took 8 years of being sold in drug stores before it was popular enough to be sold in bottles. Coca Cola was just an accidentally discovery while trying to discover a treatment for headaches. Coca Cola is the most successful food / drink invention

Friction Test
At Tauriko Primary School my class and I decided to do a friction test. We tested many things such as riding bikes in sand, sliding down slides on different things and toy cars on different substances. First we decided to test the bikes. For that we had to ride through sand bark etc and see how far the bike got. I forgot the measurements but I know that the bark one won. Next we did the toy car test we had a ramp with sandpaper on it and a ramp with no sandpaper on it both at the same hight. We tested how much slower the sandpaper made the car I forgot how much but it was still a cool test. Then we went to memorial park and tested the slide. We had a sack and normal clothes and timed how fast we went down the slide. We did it a few times and the sack ended up going faster then the normal clothes.

Rimu House Camp
I'm proud that for the clash of camp activity I got chosen for leaf identification which is like a scavenger hunt. There was 5 things that I had to find which was a Rimu leaf (coincidently I was already holding one when they told me), a skeleton leaf, some lichen, a river stone the size of $1 coin and a kidney fern. I was the first one in the bush and the first one out.
It made me laugh when Mrs Shepard told me to dance on the beam. The beam is basically just a log in the air attached to the high ropes. When I danced I decided to do the robot and the bird is the word dance (Peter Griffen style). Then I had to jump off.
