The third world arose during the cold war. Also the second world and first world. These worlds split earth into different country groups depending on the current social, economic and political problems.
Some of the third world countries include:
Africa
Latin America
Asia
Tanzania
and many more.
Right now New Zealand is a first world country. We are very fortunate to be like this.
One third world country is Afghanistan, it is classified as a third world country because 40% of the country live in poverty with 2/3 of them only have 2 US dollars a day which is 2.42 NZ dollars.
